About
Hello! My name is Mary Helen Gallucci, and I am what you get when you combine a musician, a literary scholar, a theater director, and a linguist. Which is to say, narrating audiobooks is the perfect juncture of my skill set! I'm passionate about bringing your characters to life, and sharing expressive, meaningful stories with your audience.
A graduate of the Northwestern University Bienen School of Music, I also hold two literary Master's degrees. I've been formally trained in over 10 languages, and directed middle and high school drama and musical theater for several years.
I've recorded books for Penguin Random House, Blackstone, Dreamscape, Tantor, and a variety of independent authors. My voice has been described as clear, youthful, versatile, charismatic, and polished, with excellent pacing.
I record punch-and-roll from a home studio in Indiana
with an AKG C214 microphone and Focusrite Scarlett Solo interface.
